2. Characteristics of Influent Wastewater
According to the plant owner, the existing RO-based wastewater reuse system generates approximately 30 m³/day of RO concentrate, which requires further treatment or reuse.

To effectively treat high-strength hazardous industrial wastewater, the project applies Reverse Osmosis (RO) membrane technology—one of the most advanced and efficient treatment methods currently available for wastewater reuse.

In Phase 2, when the plant upgrades to an evaporation system toward Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD), the recovery rate increases to 78–97%.
