JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Construction Engineer – Environmental Engineering
Department: Construction

1. JOB OBJECTIVE

You will ensure the proper construction of wastewater treatment, water supply, air emission treatment, solid waste treatment, wastewater reuse, and seawater treatment systems in compliance with approved designs, project schedules, and environmental technical standards.

You will supervise on-site construction activities, manage manpower and materials, coordinate with relevant stakeholders, and support system commissioning and handover to ensure operational compliance.

2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Organize and supervise the construction of environmental treatment systems (wastewater, air emission, water supply, wastewater reuse, seawater treatment, etc.) at project sites.
Review and interpret technical drawings and execute construction works in accordance with design specifications.
Develop detailed construction plans aligned with the overall project schedule.
Manage construction volume, quality control, and occupational safety at the site.
Coordinate with contractors, investors, and relevant parties throughout the construction process.
Control materials and equipment delivered to the site to ensure compliance with technical standards.
Report project progress, quality status, and any variations to supervisors.
Support system commissioning, testing, acceptance procedures, and project handover.
Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Supervise and participate in equipment testing and trial operations.

3. JOB REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in Environmental Engineering, Water Supply and Drainage Engineering, Environmental Chemistry, Construction Engineering, or related fields.
Fresh graduates or candidates with at least one year of experience in constructing wastewater treatment, water supply, or air emission systems.
Strong understanding of environmental technical standards and regulations.
Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project, and other relevant engineering software.
Willing to travel and work on-site.
Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Candidates holding occupational safety or construction supervision certificates will have an advantage.

💰 Salary: Competitive salary based on competence, plus performance/project-based bonuses. Average income starting from 11 million VND/month or higher.
